TODAY'S EPISODE: Encountering the Healing Love of Jesus
In today's readings, we encounter the mystery of human suffering and the extraordinary compassion of Jesus Christ.

In Job 21, Job challenges the explanations his friends have offered for his suffering. They insist that the wicked are punished and the righteous are rewarded, yet Job points out that life doesn't always unfold that way. Sometimes the wicked prosper, and sometimes the innocent suffer. His questions invite us to move beyond simplistic explanations and encounter a God whose wisdom is greater than our understanding.

Then, in Mark 5–6, we see Jesus entering into the suffering and brokenness of ordinary human lives. He delivers a man tormented by evil, heals a woman who has suffered for twelve years, raises a young girl from death, and feeds thousands of hungry people.

These encounters reveal something beautiful about the heart of God.

Jesus doesn't turn away from suffering. He moves toward it. He sees those who have been overlooked, touches those who have been excluded, and welcomes those who have lost hope.

Today's invitation is to discover that God's grace is not reserved for those who have everything figured out. It reaches into the most vulnerable places of our lives, bringing healing, restoration, and hope.
