God is the revealer he reveals his secrets. Like Nebuchadnezzar, he lets us all know what is in our hearts. He reveals the secret of who we are, and whose story we're living in. When this happens, it's such a sweet relief to Nebuchadnezzar, so much so that when he hears what Daniel says, he falls down in worship, because now he knows who he is. He is not God. His life is not the story. No, he's a part of the story of God. And when Daniel tells him, he is released, from being anything other than what he is, and nothing more, and he worships, and that is what God does for us. He shows us the secret of our hearts, who we really are in him. And he reveals our lives in his greater story in this world. And he shows us the part that we each play. He tells us that we are included in what he's doing. And when we see this, it will be sweet relief to be released from being anything other than who we are.
