TODAY'S EPISODE: The Way of Love Is the Way of the Kingdom
In today's readings, we encounter the deep longing of the human heart for justice, the unexpected arrival of God's kingdom, and Jesus' revelation of what matters most.

In Job 23–24, Job continues wrestling with the mystery of suffering. He longs to encounter God, to present his case, and to understand why injustice appears to go unanswered. He sees the suffering of the vulnerable and the prosperity of those who exploit them. His questions remind us that faith does not require us to ignore the world's pain or pretend that everything makes sense.

Then, in Mark 11–12, Jesus enters Jerusalem riding on a young donkey. His arrival challenges expectations of what a king should look like and how a kingdom should come. Rather than displaying the power of domination, Jesus reveals a kingdom that confronts religious exploitation and calls people back to the heart of God's purposes.

When someone asks Jesus which commandment is the greatest, his answer is beautifully simple: Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Today's invitation is to discover that the kingdom of God is not ultimately about religious performance, power, or getting everything right. It is about participating in the life and love of God revealed in Jesus Christ.
