GROW AND OVERFLOW IN LOVE

Today’s readings are Matthew 28 and I Thessalonians 1 – 3.  We are reading from the New Living Translation.

May God our Father and our Lord Jesus bring us to you very soon. And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows. May he, as a result, make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. Amen. (I Thess 3:11-13)

That’s a great prayer for all of us. Apply this prayer to your own life and heart. May the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow.  May the result of this overflowing love, extended to others, create in us a strong blameless heart that is able to stand until the day of our Lord.

This is all made possible through Christ. It is only his life in you that can give you an overflowing heart that is strong, blameless, and holy.
