1st John 2:12. JOHN says this. I'm writing to you who are God's children, because your sins have been forgiven through Jesus, who sins are forgiven? JOHN answers that question for us earlier in this same letter. In this very same chapter in verse two, he tells us that he himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for our sins, but also for the sins of the whole world. Whose sins have been forgiven. John says, the world's sin. God has forgiven atoned for the sins of everyone. John is helping believers to see who they are. He calls them "little children," God's children, God has included them into a familial relationship with himself through the atoning work of the son. And that has been accomplished for the whole world. And that would include you, you are his little child, and you have been forgiven.   John  wants you to know that, the Lord wants you to know that.  May God help us all to see the world with the same generosity and loving heart that He has for everyone. may that be so? Amen

You are loved!
