Daily Radio Bible Podcast

Paul says that he believes that Christ died for everyone. And in case we missed the point, he goes on to say that he believes that God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people's sins against them. This amazing news that God had done something so big, so cosmic, so beautiful on the cross, on behalf of all, taking back what Adam had done, Christ has made new.  This news was so Earth shaking for Paul. He says, it is a fearful responsibility to be an ambassador of this message of what God has accomplished in Christ for the whole world. It's changed the way that Paul not only sees God, but how Paul sees people. He says, We no longer evaluates people, the way we used to. Now, he sees that they (all) have been included in the embrace of God's reconciling work. And they just don't know it yet. "So I am an ambassador of this message, and I plead with people come back to God." Look, behold, see what he has done for you! See that you are included in the reconciling work of God! And the prayer of my heart today is that I will begin to catch a glimpse of  the magnitude, the expanse, the height, the width, the depth of what God has done in Christ, for all. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul here this Monday after a Resurrection Sunday, that I'll allow the resurrection to open my eyes today as I look out upon this world and begin to see things new.
