Attitude is everything. If you want to be strengthened and built up, if you want to see that for God's people to then attitude is really important. Paul says, If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God and others will approve of you too. So then let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. What is this attitude? It's the attitude of Christ Himself. Paul writes about this elsewhere in Philippians, chapter 2, verses 5 and 7, where he says, Don't look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others to you must have this same attitude that Christ Jesus had, though he was God, he did not think equality with God is something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges, he took the humble position of a slave, and was born as a human being. This is the attitude that is everything. Being able to do everything with a heart to honor God, and to serve others, laying down my privileges in order to love God and keep harmony between myself and my brothers and my sisters. This is a self giving attitude; This is a radically forgiving attitude; This is an attitude that suffers alongside on behalf of others. This is the loving attitude that we see in God revealed to us in Christ. Self giving, radically forgiving, co suffering, love. This attitude of love is everything, to be awakened by this love, to be discipled in the way of this love, will enable us to have the same loving attitude that Christ had. It will enable us to honor God and to serve others, to be free, and to know his joy. He will enable us in the Spirit of Christ in us,  will enable us to live out this attitude of love. That's the prayer that I have from my own heart. That's the prayer that I have for my family for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so

You are loved!
