God wants you to hold firmly to the word of life. But in order to do that, you have to let go of other words, words that have kept you captive and afraid. words that have been spoken over you, maybe by someone you love. Maybe it's time that you let go of those words that have defined and trapped you. God has far better words for you. He wants you to reach out and receive words like forgiven, loved, daughter, son knew the gospel. The Good News of Christ is the word we are to hold firmly to. We are invited to hold on with all our might. His good word assures us that though we are broken and bruised and have broken and bruised others. Our champion, Jesus has come to give us his word and his life. He speaks it over us to transform, heal, and restore here and now. What words are you holding on to hold firmly to words of life? forgiven, loved, daughter, son, new. Let the other words go. Reach out today. Here, receive and hold firmly to the gospel. It's good news.
